Eligibility for vaccination continues to expand. This week, that expansion included a longer list of “Essential Workers” that now includes government employees, higher education, and media. It is expected that by April 12, eligibility for vaccination will become even more broad. The Walgreens in our area also offer vaccination services. IDPH has also started a vaccination hotline to enable residents to make an appointment at several state sponsored vaccination sites. The hotline is available 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to midnight. The hotline phone number is 1-833-621-1284.
We continue with vaccination clinics for 2nd dose recipients only through March. We have loaded a new SignUpGenius link for April appointments. Find this link on our website (www.dewittpiatthealth.com) and Facebook page.
