With these additional cases, DeWitt Co has had a total of 1338 cases; Piatt Co has had a total of 1410 cases. Over the past week, DeWitt Co has had 11 cases, Piatt Co has had 15 cases. There have now been a total of 23 deaths in DeWitt Co and 14 deaths in Piatt Co due to COVID-19. We are approaching 12,000 doses of vaccine given in our two-county area (over 7000 in Piatt and nearly 5000 in DeWitt).
We continue with vaccination clinics for 2nd dose recipients only at this time. When we can be assured that we will have enough 1st and 2nd dose vaccine available, we will load a new SignUpGenius link on our website and Facebook page. We will only be vaccinating SECOND-DOSE recipients through March to enable vaccine supplies to re-stock. We hope to load a new SignUpGenius link for April appointments early next week (the week of March 14).
Please stay tuned to our website at www.dewittpiatthealth.com and our Facebook page for additional information.
