We will continue to utilize the SignUpGenius posted on our website for scheduling vaccinations at area mass vaccination clinics. Stay tuned to our website, our FB page, and local media for these SignUpGenius links.  We will provide vaccination to ALL who want vaccination within our two counties, but we have to follow the priority schedule provided by the Federal and State government.  Currently, we are only allowed to vaccinate priority group 1B which includes “essential workers” and those age 65 and older. The 1B priority group has expanded.  Beginning Feb 25, those under age 65 with health conditions are now eligible to receive vaccination.  A list of health conditions eligible is found on our website at www.dewittpiatthealth.com

Essential workers includes first responders, K-12 education workers, food and agriculture, manufacturing, corrections workers and inmates, USPS workers, public transit workers, grocery store workers and staff at shelters and day cares.

Each week we will assess demand, available supply of vaccine, and staffing before posting a new SignUpGenius link.  We have delayed posting a new SignUpGenius link this week due to concern over supplies of vaccine.  We have enough vaccine on hand to vaccinate those with appointments through the end of February.

Additional vaccination information is located here: https://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/vaccine-faq and

PLEASE continue to practice our prevention protocol:  WASH your hands frequently, WEAR a mask when in public, WATCH your distance (maintain a 6 ft distance), don't attend or host gatherings, and shelter vulnerable populations.

Thank you!
